Commuters suffer as train services hit on Mumbai's Harbour line

Mumbai, June 12 ( UNI) Local train services on Mumbai’s Harbour Line were disrupted on Friday during peak hours after a piece of cloth thrown on the overhead electric wire near Chembur caused a technical snag.
According to railway officials, the cloth entangled in the OHE wire led to disruption of both up and down train services on the Harbour Line. Thousands of commuters faced severe inconvenience as a result. Several trains are running late, while some services have been temporarily suspended.
Railway technical staff have rushed to the spot and are working to remove the cloth from the overhead wire and restore services.
