Community certificates now faster, easier via MeeSeva: IT Minister Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad, Sept 10 (UNI) Telangana Minister for IT and Industries D. Sridhar Babu today announced that obtaining community certificates in Telangana has become significantly faster and easier through MeeSeva, following recent reforms in the process.
He said the initiative, rolled out 15 days ago, has already benefited more than 17,500 citizens and is expected to ease access for nearly 20 lakh applicants every year.
Under the new system, BC, SC and ST citizens can re-issue their certificates directly at MeeSeva centers without fresh approval, except in special cases such as conversions, the Minister said.
