Commission agent dies in violent clash at grain market in Punjab

Chandigarh, Apr 16 (UNI) A dispute between two commission agents (Arhtiyas) over space allocation took a tragic turn at the Avan grain market under Ramdas Police Station, resulting in the death of an agent identified as Dalvir Singh.
According to police official Arjun Kumar, the altercation reportedly began as a verbal spat regarding the placement of grain and the allocation of floor space (Phadh). The situation rapidly escalated into a physical confrontation between the two parties, during which Dalvir Singh sustained fatal injuries.
Preliminary investigations by the police indicate that while no conventional weapons were used during the fight, the physical assault involving punching and shoving proved fatal.
