Comedy-drama series 'Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya' to release on July 24

Mumbai, Jul 9 (UNI) The comedy-drama series "Aadarsh Bal Vidyalaya", starring Kay Kay Menon, will have its worldwide premiere on July 24.
The series will be streamed on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide in Hindi language with English subtitles. Himank Gaur directs the seven-episode series. Its executive producers are Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena. It is produced under the banner of Posham Pa Pictures. The story of the series is co-written by Biswapati Sarkar, Akshay Asthana, Nupur Pai, Tatsat Pandey and Meghna Srivastava.
The story revolves around Gyaneshwar Tripathi (Kay Kay Menon), the carefree headmaster of a rundown government school. His desire to attend a government training programme in Cambridge leads him on a mission to transform his school. With a unique team of teachers, he faces a lack of resources, mischievous children, parental indifference, and administrative challenges as he strives to reinvent the school. Filled with humour and emotion, the series presents a story of struggle, hope, and change.
Apart from Menon, the series also cats Archana Puran Singh, Naveen Kasturia, Prasanna Bisht, Abhimanyu Singh, Deven Bhojani, Ajitesh Gupta, Annapurna Soni and Prachi Shah in pivotal roles.
Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video India, said, "Aadarsh Bal Vidyalaya is an entertaining and heartwarming comedy series that takes a light-hearted look at the shortcomings of the education system and the struggles of those trying to improve them." He expressed confidence that the series will resonate with audiences not only in India but around the world.
Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena, co-creators and executive producers of the series, said that it began with the story of a school that appears to be failing by all standards, but the teachers and students there keep it alive through their spirit. They said that the character of Dnyaneshwar Tripathi is the soul of the story, and Menon has brought it to life with his brilliant performance.
