Cold wave tightens grip over Kashmir, Shopian coldest at –7.5°C

Srinagar, Jan 14 (UNI) The severe cold wave continued its grip across Kashmir as most places recorded a further drop in minimum temperatures last night, with Shopian emerging as the coldest area in the Valley at –7.5°C, officials said on Wednesday.
According to meteorological department data, Pulwama in south Kashmir also reeled under intense cold at –7.0°C, while Kupwara and Pahalgam recorded lows of –6.2°C and –6.0°C, respectively.

Amethi: Tubewell dept clerk arrested taking Rs 15,000 bribe
