CM Revanth Reddy puts state on alert as heavy rains lash Telangana

Hyderabad, Aug 4 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed all district Collectors and departmental officers to remain on high alert as heavy rains continue to batter Hyderabad and other parts of the state.
The Chief Minister, who reviewed the situation with senior officials at the State Secretariat, instructed all departments to work in close coordination to prevent damage and ensure timely relief, particularly in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
He emphasised the need to alert residents in areas where floodwaters are rising, including those under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
