CM inaugurates Robotic Surgery facility at RPGMC Tanda in HP

Shimla, Sep 12(UNI) Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday virtually inaugurated a robotic surgery facility worth Rs. 30 crore at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC), Tanda in Kangra district.
The Chief Minister was scheduled to inaugurate the facility in person, but his helicopter could not land due to adverse weather, prompting him to join the event from Chandigarh.
The Chief Minister said the state government was committed to strengthening healthcare by providing advanced medical services closer to people’s homes. He stated that a robotic surgery unit had already been commissioned at the Atal Institute of Medical Super Speciality, Chamiyana in Shimla, and assured that there would be no shortage of funds for the health sector.
