CM Hemant Soren, MLA Kalpana Soren inaugurate three-day IPSOWA Diwali mela

Ranchi, Oct 16 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren inaugurated the three-day Diwali Mela organized by the Indian Police Service Officers Wives Association (IPSOWA) at JAIP-1 Ground, Doranda, Ranchi today.
Addressing the gathering, CM Soren lauded IPSOWA for its long-standing social work, highlighting the organization’s efforts in supporting marginalized and underprivileged sections of society through various initiatives. He extended his greetings to all attendees and emphasized the collective responsibility to stand by every person in need.
"IPSOWA is not new to social service; it has been continuously aiding those excluded from the mainstream. Through such fairs, the association is striving toward new goals, and I am confident they will achieve them,” CM Soren said. He added that the police department is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the people, while IPSOWA, managed by officers’ families, complements this by fulfilling social responsibilities with sensitivity.
