CM Fadnavis reviews key criminal investigations in Maharashtra

Mumbai, April 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis convened a high-level review meeting of the Home Department, where he assessed the progress of several sensitive investigations, including the Nashik conversion case, sources said.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of Police, the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), the SIT chief, and other senior police officers. The Chief Minister issued a series of directives aimed at strengthening investigations and ensuring accountability.
The Chief Minister emphasised the need to instil confidence among the victims. He directed that all those found guilty must face the strictest possible punishment. Stressing the importance of building a strong prosecution, he instructed officials to focus on collecting solid and credible evidence so that the case stands firmly in court. Establishing the offence through conclusive proof, he said, should remain the top priority.
