CII Green Cementech 2026 to focus on cement industry’s green transition

Hyderabad, May 12 (UNI) The 22nd edition of Green Cementech 2026, the flagship annual Conference and Expo of the Confederation of Indian Industry for the cement sector, will be held on May 14 and 15 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
Organised by the CII Green Business Centre in partnership with the Cement Manufacturers' Association, the event aims to promote sustainability, energy efficiency and technological innovation in the cement industry.
More than 400 industry representatives and stakeholders from across the globe are expected to participate in the two-day conference, which will feature over 50 national and international speakers, including cement manufacturers, technology providers, researchers and sustainability experts.
The conference will witness the release of two publications — “Advancing Material Efficiency: The Role of SCMs in Low-Carbon Cement” and “Carbon Capture: Technologies, Economics, and Scale-up Pathways.”
Panel discussions on net-zero strategies for the cement industry and sessions on futuristic technologies for sustainable cement manufacturing will also be held.
The Green Cementech 2026 Expo will feature more than 50 exhibitors showcasing advancements in digital solutions, energy-efficient systems and decarbonisation technologies for the cement sector.
Eminent leaders and experts from the cement and allied industries are expected to address the conference, a statement here said on Tuesday.
