Chinese national detained in Kashmir for visa violation, sent back to Delhi

Srinagar, Dec 11 (UNI) A 29-year-old Chinese national was sent back to New Delhi last evening after being detained for unauthorised travel to Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, official sources said.
The J&K Police have also booked the owner of the homestay in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, where he stayed, for allegedly failing to report his presence.
The man, identified as Lucalfo Behu alias Hu Congtai, of Shenzheng Guangdeng China, had arrived in New Delhi on November 19 on a tourist visa that permitted travel only to Varanasi, Agra, New Delhi, Jaipur, Sarnath, Gaya and Kushinagar. Despite this restriction, he travelled to Kashmir on December 1, prompting police and intelligence agencies to question him for visa violations, the sources said.
