China to continue supporting North Korea’s policies, says Xi Jinping

Pyongyang, Jun 8 (UNI) Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is on a two-day state visit to North Korea, said that China will continue to endorse the policies pursued by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, regardless of changes in the international situation.
“No matter how times change or how the international landscape evolves, the traditional friendship between China and the DPRK remains unbreakable and enduring, constantly demonstrating vigorous vitality,” Xi said during his visit to Pyongyang on Monday, Chinese state broadcaster CGTN reported..
Xi said China stands by Kim Jong Un in his efforts to build socialism in North Korea and called for strengthening strategic cooperation to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.
