China's Shenzhou 19 space mission returns to Earth safely after six months in orbit

Beijing, Apr 30 (UNI) China’s three-person-Shenzhou 19 space mission came back to Earth today after six months in orbit. The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) declared the mission a success, after the crew safely landed in the country’s Inner Mongolia region.

The Shenzhou 19 spacecraft — carrying astronauts Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong, and Wang Haoze — undocked from the Tiangong space station on Tuesday (April 29) at 4 p.m. EDT (2000 GMT; 4 a.m. on April 30 China Standard Time), according to Beijing’s space officials.
