Ch. Sambhajinagar, Jan 18 (UNI) The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar bench of the Maharashtra State Information Commission has achieved significant success in the speedy disposal of cases, substantially reducing the pendency of second appeals and complaints under the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
According to official data, the bench disposed of 14,001 second appeals in 2024, followed by 10,783 second appeals in 2025. During this period, the rate of disposal of complaints registered with the commission increased nearly tenfold, while the pendency of second appeals dropped by about 55 per cent.
