Centre extending assistance to Manipur: CM Biren

Imphal, July, 25 (UNI)Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said that due to the unprecedented crisis in the State, the Centre has been extending unwavering support for the welfare of the State.
A sum of Rs 145 crore for relief camps and Rs.124 crore for construction of pre-fabricated houses were released for the people affected by the crisis.
A one-time financial assistance of Rs 1000 each for the fourth phase total amounting to around Rs. 23 crore has been released. He also said ten Kuki MLAs who did not attend the last two Assembly sessions will also be asked to attend the ensuing Assembly session.
