CDS recalls war strategy, border villages and NDA journey

New Delhi, May 16 Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan on Saturday described Operation Sindoor as an unprecedented and still ongoing military campaign that marked a major shift in India's warfighting strategy through coordinated action across land, air, sea, cyber and space domains.
Speaking at an interactive session hosted by Uniform Unveiled at the Manekshaw Centre here, General Chauhan said the operation was unlike any previous conflict India had fought. "For the first time, this was a kind of multi-domain operation," he said, noting that all three services operated in a coordinated manner. He said the campaign largely involved non-contact warfare and newer technologies such as space and cyber capabilities.

Indian Army contingent to participate in joint military exercise Khaan Quest in Mongolia

New Delhi, Jun 18 (UNI) An Indian Army contingent is set to depart for Mongolia to take part in the multilateral joint military initiative, ‘Exercise KHAAN QUEST.’
The military exercise is scheduled to be conducted from June 20 to July 3 at Five Hills Training Area, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

SC declines interim relief against CBSE’s three-language policy, tags plea with pending batch

New Delhi, Jun 18 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to grant any interim relief on a petition filed by the NGO Friends of People for Active Democracy, challenging the implementation of the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) three-language policy for Class 9 students from the 2026–27 academic session.
