CBI arrests Delhi Police ASI for accepting bribe

New Delhi, Feb 10 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday said it has arrested an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Delhi Police for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from a man for favouring his brother to secure bail.
The accused had allegedly threatened to implicate the complainant’s brother in other cases if the bribe amount was not paid.
The CBI registered the case on February 7 against the accused ASI, identified as Om Prakash posted at PS Paschim Vihar, Delhi,
