Campaign in eight Lok Sabha seats of Bihar ends on Thursday

Patna, May 30 ( UNI) The campaigning for the sixth and the final phase of the seven-phased Loksabha elections in eight parliamentary constituencies came to an end on Thursday evening in Bihar where polling is slated for June 1.
The parliamentary seats where campaigning ended are Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Arrah Buxar, Sasaram, Karakat and Jehanabad.
Of the 8 seats BJP was contesting on five, JDU two and RLM 1. BJP has fielded candidates in Sasaram, Pataliputra, Arrah, Buxar and Patna Sahib whereas JDU is in the fray from Nalanda and Jehanabad and RLM in Karakat.
