Cabinet gives nod for two pvt Universities

Hyderabad, July 10 (UNI) The state cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today approved upgrading Amity Educational Institutions and St. Mary Rehabilitation Institution as universities.
Briefing media persons after the cabinet meeting, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said Amity University would have to allot 50 percent seats to Telangana students.
The Cabinet also decided to expedite the land acquisition for pending irrigation projects and complete the balance works at the earliest, he said.

TPCC chief alleges large-scale voter deletions, demands more time for revision
