By-Elections see robust mid-day turnout across seven States

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) By-elections for eight key Assembly constituencies spanning seven different states are currently in progress, with the Election Commission of India (ECI) deploying robust security measures to safeguard the integrity and fairness of the voting process.
The constituencies going to polls include Budgam and Nagrota in Jammu and Kashmir, Anta in Rajasthan, Ghatshila in Jharkhand, Jubilee Hills in Telangana, Tarn Taran in Punjab, Dampa in Mizoram, and Nuapada in Odisha.
According to the latest reports from the ECI, voter turnout by 3:00 pm has been encouraging across all constituencies.

IndiGo reports Rs 610 crore refunds, eyes Dec 10 for full stabilisation

New Delhi, 7 Dec (UNI) As IndiGo raced to meet the government’s 8 pm deadline to refund passengers affected by the country’s largest airline disruption, the Ministry of Civil Aviation on Sunday said the carrier had processed refunds worth Rs 610 crore so far. IndiGo also indicated that it now expects operations to stabilise by December 10, revising its earlier guidance of a December 10–15 recovery window.
