Birla AI Labs launches Made-in-India time series foundation model 'Yug-1'

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) Aditya Birla Group's Birla AI Labs officially announced the release of its time series foundation model (TSFM) 'Yug-1' today, which has been developed to forecast outcomes, identify patterns and detect anomalies across interconnected datasets. Birla AI Lab Founder and Chairperson Ananya Birla stated in a LinkedIn post that Yug-1 has outperformed other first-generation TSMFs on the GiftEval benchmark and performed competitively against newer-generation models.
