Chennai Port achieves all time record in Pig Iron export handling

Chennai, Sep 17 (UNI) The Chennai Port has achieved an all-time record in the export of Pig Iron by handling 14,778 tons on a single day on September 14, 2026. The record shipment was executed through the vessel M V Supra Monarch at Jawahar Dock - VI, surpassing the previous record of 13,208 tons handled from M V Agia Charis on July 30, 2026.
