Acrotech Biopharma launches ADQUEY in US, enters dermatology market

Hyderabad, Sep 30 (UNI) Acrotech Biopharma Inc, , a subsidiary of Hyderabad based Aurobindo Pharma, on Thursday announced the launch of ADQUEY (difamilast 1%) ointment in the US for the treatment of mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis in adults and children aged two years and above. The non-steroidal topical phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor is intended for patients with atopic dermatitis, a chronic inflammatory skin condition, the pharma company said in a release. The product was originally discovered and developed by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co Ltd and licensed to Acrotech Biopharma for commercialisation in the US. The launch marks Acrotech's entry into the US…
