GI-tagged Tandur Redgram exported to Australia for first time

Hyderabad, Oct 28 (UNI) Telangana's GI-tagged Tandur redgram (Tandur Kandulu) has entered the Australian market for the first time, with the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) facilitating the export of an initial consignment of 2.5 metric tonnes. The consignment was flagged off from Hyderabad on Wednesday through a hybrid event by State Agricultural Production Commissioner and Agriculture Department Secretary Surendra Mohan and APEDA Assistant General Manager R P Naidu.
