India real estate draws $18.6 billion equity inflows in 9 months, surpasses 2025 total

New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) India's real estate sector attracted $18.6 billion in equity investments during January-September 2026, surpassing the $14.2 billion raised during the entire 2025, according to a report by CBRE South Asia. The sharp increase was driven largely by a surge in institutional and foreign capital during the third quarter. Equity inflows into the sector stood at $9.5 billion in Q3 2026, more than twice the $4.4 billion recorded in the same quarter last year.
