AP: GCC steps up efforts to secure global recognition for Araku coffee

Visakhapatnam, Oct 1 (UNI) The Girijan Cooperative Corporation (GCC) is intensifying efforts to secure international recognition for Araku coffee and improve market opportunities and incomes for tribal farmers, GCC Chairman Kidari Sravan Kumar said today. Speaking at a special programme organised at the Arabica Araku Valley Coffee Cafe at the GCC head office here, to mark International Coffee Day, Sravan Kumar said tribal farmers were working hard to cultivate Araku coffee and the corporation was taking steps to promote it in international markets.
