Banks to remain open on Sunday ahead of 3-day nationwide strike

New Delhi, Sep 23 (UNI) All Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) will remain open and operate as usual on Sunday, September 27, 2026, as the government seeks to limit disruption to banking services ahead of a proposed three-day nationwide strike. The decision has been taken in view of the proposed strike by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), scheduled from September 28 to September 30.
