Burglar arrested in Kolhapur, gold jewellery worth Rs 14 lakh recovered

Kolhapur, July 10 (UNI) The Local Crime Branch (LCB) today arrested a man in connection with an alleged burglary of gold jewellery worth Rs 14 lakh from a house at Jakhale village in Panhala tehsil of the district on July four.
According to sources in LCB, the burglar, identified as Akshay Shankar Pawar (27) of Borpadale village, had stolen a box containing gold jewellery weighed up to total 140 grams and worth Rs 14 lakh.
Acting on a tip off, an LCB team arrested Akshay and seized stolen jewellery from him.
