Bumrah's Stump-Mic Remark Steal Day 1 Spotlight

Kolkata, Nov 14 (UNI) Day 1 of the first Test between India and South Africa at Eden Gardens was highlighted not only by Jasprit Bumrah's masterful five-wicket haul but also by a minor stump-mic incident that drew attention off the field.
During South Africa's innings, Bumrah reportedly remarked "bauna bhi hai" to Proteas captain Temba Bavuma while debating whether to take a DRS. The comment, picked up by the stump microphone, was widely discussed in the media, though it did not affect the spirit of the game.
South Africa opted to play down the incident, with batting coach Ashwell Prince saying: "No, there will be no discussion. It's the first time, obviously, it's come to my attention. I don't think there'll be any issues with what's happened out in the middle."
