Budget FY27 ensures policy certainty, boosts manufacturing and reforms: Sitharaman to US-India Strategic Forum

New Delhi, Feb 9 (UNI) union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday said that the union Budget 2026–27 reflects the government's commitment to continuity, certainty and predictability in policymaking to help businesses and industry plan long-term investments, amid global economic uncertainty.
‎Addressing Board Members of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) in New Delhi, Sitharaman said the Budget, presented under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was designed to provide a stable and reform-oriented policy environment.
‎"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Budget reflects the government's commitment to continuity, certainty and predictability from a policy point of view for businesses and industry, enabling them to foster long-term plans and investment commitments," Sitharaman said, according to a Finance Ministry release.
