BSF rescues seven civilians stranded in heavy snowfall in J&K's Razdan Pass

Srinagar, Nov 5 (UNI) In a humanitarian act, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel rescued seven civilians stranded amid heavy snowfall on Razdan Pass in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Last night the upper reaches of Kashmir experienced fresh snowfall that led to the closure of key highways, including the Bandipora Gurez road. The Razdan Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass connecting Kashmir’s Bandipora to Gurez valley.
BSF said on receiving information about the stranded individuals, the Company Commander immediately deployed a rescue team.
