BSF, Meghalaya police nab two Bangladeshi nationals

Shillong, Nov 2 (UNI)Two Bangladeshi nationals who crossed over to the Indian territory and one Indian tout were arrested by troopers of the Border Security Force (BSF) and Meghalaya police, officials said on Saturday.
Acting on specific intelligence regarding illegal crossings in East Khasi Hills District, the 4th Battalion BSF swiftly alerted Meghalaya Police under Pynursla Police Station and intercepted a vehicle bearing Meghalaya registration No. along the Shillong-Tamabil road in Pynursla on Friday.
During the vehicle search, two Bangladeshi nationals and an Indian taxi driver, suspected of facilitating the crossing, were apprehended, and the vehicle was seized, a BSF official said.
