BSF Meghalaya launches ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign

Shillong, Aug 14 (UNI) In an effort to celebrate and promote patriotism, the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya Frontier launched the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, which aims to encourage every citizen to hoist and display the national flag across the region from August 13 to 15.
“Field formations under the BSF Meghalaya Frontier organized walkathons and Tiranga rallies in and around campus areas and along the border, engaging civilians, BSF personnel, and the local population to inspire everyone to hoist or display the national flag at their homes, government buildings, and prominent places such as schools and colleges, ensuring the success of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
The event also aimed to instill a deep sense of patriotism among school children and the local community,” a BSF official said.
