BSF cop Vijay rushed back on duty leaving his marriage rituals

Patna, May 12 (UNI) BSF cop Vijay Kumar, leaving back the ongoing rituals related to his marriage at village Bangre in Aurangabad district, rushed back to join his duty along Rajasthan borders in view of the Indo-Pak tension.
For Vijay Kumar , a BSF soldier posted on the borders of Rajasthan, it was a long cherished happy moment as his "Chheka"( engagement) , a ritual related to marriage was being solemnised on May 10 at Bangre, a sleeping hamlet of Aurangabad district, but had to rush back to his duty leaving the ceremony.
The cop suddenly received a call from the Army headquarter when the rituals were midway. Leaving the rituals he reached the railway station within half an hour and boarded the train for Rajasthan. The rituals were however symbolically performed in hurly burly

Odisha Govt launches scheme to revive traditional crop & food culture

Bhubaneswar, June 18 (UNI) In an effort to revive Odisha's traditional crop and food culture, the state government on Wednesday launched a new scheme titled “Revival and Sustainable Intensification of Forgotten Food & Neglected Crops in Odisha.”
The scheme focuses on the conservation, cultivation, value addition, marketing, and awareness generation around traditional and neglected crops. It aims to provide additional financial support
to cultivators, particularly those from tribal communities.
