Breach of Privilege Motion filed against Suryakant More in Maharashtra Legislative Council

Nagpur, Dec 9 (UNI) A breach of privilege motion has been filed against Suryakant More in the Maharashtra Legislative Council for allegedly making derogatory remarks against the chairperson and members of the House.
The motion, moved by legislators Pravin Darekar and Shrikant Bharti, pertains to comments reportedly made by Suryakant More, an NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) worker, during an election rally in Jamkhed (Ahemadnagar) on November 23.
According to sources, More’s remarks insulted the Council’s structure, members, and chairperson Ram Shinde, prompting calls for disciplinary action.
