Brazilian girl voting 22 times in 1 hour "impossible": Joshi

Bengaluru, Nov 6 (UNI) union Minister Pralhad Joshi today rejected claims by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi that a Brazilian girl voted more than 22 times in one hour, calling the allegations "impossible" and challenging them to prove their veracity.
"He (Rahul Gandhi) claims that in one hour, she (the Brazilian girl) voted more than 22 times — is that possible? We are ready to prove the truth and challenge these false allegations," Joshi told reporters on the sidelines of seventh edition of IMA 2025.
The minister also dismissed other related allegations, calling them "false and baseless". He clarified, "The girl herself has clarified that the photo used was wrongly fixed; it was not hers. If there were any irregularities, they could have lodged a police complaint or an FIR (first information report). Everything said so far has turned out to be false."
