BPCL profit slides 71 pc in Q1 to Rs 3,015 crore

New Delhi, July 19 (UNI) State-run Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) on Friday reported 71.42% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit for the April-June quarter (Q1) of the current financial year 2024-25 at Rs 3,014.77 crore.
The energy major had posted a net profit of Rs 10550.88 crore in the Q1 of previous financial year 2023-24.
Sequentially, BPCL's net profit fell 28.63% from Rs 4,224.18 crore in January-March quarter.
