Shimla, June 14 (UNI) The unrelenting heatwave in Himachal Pradesh continues to fuel devastating forest and grass fires, claiming yet another life within 24 hours.
The latest victim, Abhishek, a 12-year-old boy from the Giripar area, tragically succumbed to severe burns after a valiant attempt to extinguish a grass fire.
The incident occurred in Dimanu village of Badwas Panchayat in Sirmour district. On Sunday, a fierce fire broke out in the grass, prompting nearby residents to rush to the scene.
