Bomb threat to Indigo flight

Kochi, Jun 17 (UNI) A bomb threat was received via email on the official ID of Cochin International Airport concerning an Indigo flight that arrived at Kochi from Muscat and later departed as a domestic flight to Delhi at 9.31 am.
The Bureau of Airport Police Control (BAPC) was convened and the threat was declared as specific.
The information was promptly communicated to relevant authorities following which the flight made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport and is currently undergoing inspection.
After completing the security checks, the aircraft with 157 passengers and 6 crew on board will proceed to Delhi, authorities said.
