Blue-Collar Jobs Viable Alternative to White-Collar Employment: Telangana CM

Hyderabad/Bengaluru, June 6 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy today said blue-collar jobs are emerging as a strong alternative to traditional white-collar employment and urged youth to focus on skill development and explore new opportunities in a rapidly changing job market.
Speaking during a conversation with N. Ram, Director of The Hindu, at the "The Hindu Huddle" session titled "By, For, and Of the People: Good Governance for Telangana" in Bengaluru, the Chief Minister said the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed several sectors but has not replaced the need for skilled blue-collar workers.
"AI has not created an alternative to blue-collar jobs. AI can create many things, but it cannot create a politician," Revanth Reddy remarked, emphasizing the importance of human skills and adaptability.
