BLOs to read out draft electoral rolls of SIR in UP on Jan 18

Lucknow, Jan 13 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has instructed all the BLOs in Uttar Pradesh to read out the draft electoral roll of SIR to the voters at all polling booths across the state in a mission mode on January 18.
UP Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa, gave this instruction while reviewing the work related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls with all the District Election Officers, Deputy District Election Officers, and Electoral Registration Officers of the state through video conferencing.
He instructed that on January 18, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) should read out the draft electoral roll to the voters at all polling booths across the state in a mission mode.

MP's Dabra stampede kills one, injures seven
