Blood donation campaign launched across Jharkhand

Ranchi, Nov 12 ( UNI ) The Jharkhand Health Department on Wednesday launched a statewide blood donation campaign from November 12 to 28 to promote voluntary blood donation and ensure adequate availability.
The campaign began with a mega blood donation amp at Project Bhawan, inaugurated by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari, and Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, who also donated blood to mark the occasion.
The drive, themed “Swabhav Mein Raktdaan” (Make Blood Donation a Habit), aims to encourage citizens to donate blood regularly so that no patient faces a shortage in emergencies.

Patna, Dec 11(UNI) RJD senior leader Shivanand Tivary has questioned the disappearance of Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav from the political scene after the party’s crushing defeat in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. Tivary advised Tejashwi to return to the field without delay.
In an open letter addressed to Tejashwi, Tivary held Sanjay Yadav and former RJD Bihar president Jagadanand Singh, both considered close to the RJD’s de facto chief, responsible for keeping him in the dark.
