BJP trying to crush democracy: UP Youth Congress (Central) in-charge Rishendra Singh Mahar

Lucknow, Sep 14 (UNI) “The BJP is attempting to crush democracy in every possible way, even resorting to shameful acts like vote rigging,” said Rishendra Singh Mahar, Secretary of the Indian Youth Congress and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Youth Congress (Central).
Addressing the State Executive Committee meeting of the UP Youth Congress (Central) held in Lucknow on Sunday as the Chief Guest, he underscored the need for unity, dedication, and grassroots mobilization among all office bearers and workers.
“This is not just a political fight but a struggle to protect democratic rights and the Constitution,” he said, lauding Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for his continued efforts to combat electoral fraud across the country.

Haryana tightens rules on long-vacant university posts, case-by-case approval retained

Panchkula, Aug 18 (UNI) The Haryana Finance Department has revised its economy measures for State Universities, informing all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments and Vice-Chancellors of state universities that newly created posts remaining vacant for four years may be treated as deemed abolished, while departments requiring such posts to be filled after four years will have to submit the cases to the Finance Department for consideration on a case-to-case basis.
