BJP to light ‘Sabarimala Protection Jyothi’ at over 10,000 centres on Jan 14

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 13 (UNI) In protest against the gold theft at Sabarimala, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will light the Sabarimala Protection Jyothi at more than 10,000 centres across Kerala on January 14, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, a senior leader announced on Tuesday.
The event, titled “Ayappa Jyothi at Home and in the Community”, will begin at 6 pm. Thousands of BJP workers are expected to participate, lighting the Jyothi at party offices, public spaces, and temples throughout the state.
State General Secretary Adv. S. Suresh stated that prominent members from various sectors of society would join the initiative.
