BJP's Tarun Chugh files Rajya Sabha nomination

Chandigarh, June 6 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha candidate, Tarun Chugh, today filed his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha election from Madhya Pradesh at the State Legislative Assembly in the presence of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, State BJP President Hemant Khandelwal, senior party leaders, ministers, office-bearers and a large gathering of party workers.
The nomination filing was marked by enthusiasm among BJP leaders and workers, with party cadres from different parts of the state extending their greetings and expressing confidence in Chugh’s leadership and his prospective contribution in the Upper House of Parliament.
Speaking on the occasion, Chugh thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President Nitin Nabin and the party leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility. He said the faith reposed in an ordinary party worker reflected the BJP’s organisational culture and carried with it a significant responsibility.
