BJP's former Mumbai corporator attempts suicide in police station

Kolhapur, Raigad, Feb 17 (UNI) In a shocking incident, Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) former corporator in Mumbai Bharat Jadhav attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in Karjat police station in Raigad district today.
According to the police, Jadhav, who had been in financial crisis for some time, had shared a video on Facebook alleging financial cheating. Then he reached Karjat police station and took poison.
After this incident was noticed, police immediately shifted him to Apolo Hospital in New Mumbai, where he is under treatment.
