BJP Ministers, MLAs, MPs to celebrate Diwali at Plinths: Ravindra Chavan

Mumbai Oct 16 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will once again organise the sensitive and socially conscious initiative “Diwali on the Plinth” across the state this year, said BJP State President Ravindra Chavan today. Under this initiative, BJP ministers, MLAs, MPs, and office bearers will visit sugarcane harvesters, nomadic and de-notified communities, construction workers, and other underprivileged groups to celebrate Diwali with them, he said.
Across the state, through BJP workers and social organisations, Diwali treats, sweets, clothes, and gifts will be distributed in these settlements. Firecrackers and educational materials will also be provided for children, he said.
The “Diwali on the Plinth” initiative is a beacon of social sensitivity and inclusivity. Through the celebration of festivals, the BJP is committed to bringing respect, care, and joy to the marginalised sections of society. All BJP ministers, MLAs, MPs, and district presidents will actively participate in this initiative, Chavan added. UNI SP SSP
