BJD workers demand arrest of BJ

Bhubaneswar, July 10 (UNI) The Biju Mahila Janata Dal (BJD) today demanded the immediate arrest of BJP MLA Santosh Khatua for allegedly making indecent and objectionable remarks against senior BJD leader and party spokesperson Lekhashree Samantsinghar.
Members of the BJD women’s wing staged a Swabhiman Rally in Bhubaneswar, led by BJD Chief Whip and party vice president Pramila Mallik.
The protesters burnt an effigy of the BJP MLA and submitted a memorandum to the Director General of Police, urging him to take prompt action and arrest Khatua.
