BJD demands President's intervention over alleged atrocities on tribals in Sijimali

Bhubaneswar, Apr 11 (UNI) The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has strongly condemned the alleged brutal actions carried out by the administration against tribal communities in the Sijimali area of Rayagada district. The party has urged the President of India to intervene and ensure justice for the affected people.
Addressing the media, Rayagada district BJD president Jagannath Saraka, Koraput district president Jhinna Hikka, and media coordinator Priyabrata Majhi accused the state administration of acting inhumanely toward the tribal population.
They claimed the incident reflects what they described as anti-tribal policies of the BJP-led state government.
