Bilaspur’s Nakrana to become adventure and water sports hub

Bilaspur, Jan 20 (UNI) Marking a significant step towards diversifying tourism in Bilaspur, the district administration has received State Government approval to develop water and adventure sports in the Nakrana region, aiming to blend religious tourism with thrill-based experiences.
Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar informed that the proposal submitted by the district administration for the development of water and adventure sports activities in Nakrana and the surrounding regions near Shri Naina Devi Ji and Govind Sagar Lake has been approved, and the tender process to launch these activities will begin shortly.
Chairing a meeting of the Tourism, Sports, Trade and Employment Generation Society, the Deputy Commissioner said a district-level team led by him had already visited the Nakrana area to assess its suitability for adventure and water-based tourism.
